All cats boarded at Four Paws Cattery will need to be vaccinated against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu. They must have been given the vaccination more than 14 days prior to boarding. We need to view an up-to-date vaccination certificate on each visit which we will retain until your return. Cats without this will not be admitted.

Please ensure your cat has received the recommended flea and worming treatment prior to attending.

Only cats from the same household can share accommodation.

On the rare occurrence of a cat becoming ill during its stay, we will contact your vet to seek advice (if available), if your vet is not available we will contact our vet which is Maes Glas to seek advice. Any costs incurred remain the responsibility of the cat’s owners.

Every care is taken with cats staying with us, we cannot be held responsible for any illness, disease, or death of a cat whilst boarding at Four Paws Cattery. Cats are boarded at their owner’s own risk. We will ensure that all care and diligence are taken to ensure your cat’s safety, security, health, and wellbeing whilst boarded with us.

Any current or ongoing problems with a cat’s health or temperament must be notified to us at the time of booking.

Four Paws Cattery will supply and feed as instructed by the owners. However, if a cat becomes fussy we will offer them an alternative nourishing diet to encourage them to eat.

All male cats over the age of 6 months must be neutered. Otherwise, we are unable to accept them.

Please be aware that for reasons of safety, we will turn away any cats that are suffering from or are suspected of suffering from any form of infectious or contagious disease. All cats are examined on arrival and we reserve the right not to accept any cats which show signs of ill health, pending further advice from a veterinary surgeon.

A non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the total bill is payable at the time of booking.

The balance of your booking fees is payable in full at the time of arrival.

If you cancel your booking – the booking fee is forfeited.

If you cancel your booking within 7 days of arrival, the full balance is payable.

All forms that are issued by Four Paws Cattery must be completed in full.

In order to keep our costs down, we can only accept payment by cash or Direct Bank Payment.

Boarding fees are charged on a daily basis from the arrival date, irrelevant of the time of arrival or time of departure. The chalet will be available for your cat/cats from opening time on the day of arrival to closing time on the day of departure. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the closing time. If your holiday is cut short and you collect your cat early you will still be charged for the time you have booked as we will have reserved the chalet for you and turned other customers away.

Your cat will only become the responsibility of Four Paws Cattery after it has been placed in the cattery unit. All cats brought in on arrival must be in suitable carriers and not in your arms.

A provisional booking will only be held for 3 days.

You can only deliver your cats or collect them during our opening times:-

Monday to Friday 09:30 – 10:30 and 16:00 – 18:00

Saturday 10:00 – 11:00

Sunday 10:00 – 11:00

The Cattery is closed on all Bank Holidays for arrivals and departures unless otherwise stated.

All prices include food and heating, if your cat is on a specialist veterinary diet please provide this.
